After years of making portraits there is one thing I have noticed - not one shoot is the same as the other.
Each family, individual, couple or pet brings their own character and story to their session.
There is no doubt that the background of the historic canal district, or the natural beauty of Amsterdam's parks, offers an incredible foundation for the ultimate portrait, but ultimately It is the lovely people I meet who bring it all to life! .
The sessions are nearly always outdoors, I love natural light & the relaxed vibe cultivated by walking and talking.
I'm not prescriptive when it comes to posing, If you're asked to pose - it looks like you've posed.
I want to capture a moment of calm, the natural you, your everyday smile, your laugh, your personality.
Whatever ideas you have for your shoot are welcome. It's fine just to show up and we make it happen, but if you want to bring some props; flowers, sports equipment, musical instruments, hats, bubbles... whatever you think is fun we can make it part of the shoot.
Family shoots, children's portraits, headshots, profile images, new born, pets, business, weddings, parties etc...
The main thing is just being there,
